Rescue:Freedom
I first worked with Rescue:Freedom on a visual rebrand in 2017 before joining the team. In 2022, Rescue:Freedom became Atlas Free, and the entire brand was reforged with great intention. Up until that point, my work spanned the website, events, collateral, major donor communications, and everything from t-shirts to annual reports.
Here are some highlights.
Visual Rebrand
My first project with Rescue:Freedom, the visual rebrand consisted of a new brand guide, website, and collateral to carry the organization into a current, professional, inviting space. I brought the organization into a brighter color palette, positive imagery, and the clean, timeless typefaces.

2020 Annual Report
After a year of heavy news, I created a good newspaper giving the Rescue:Freedom community something to celebrate. We received enthusiastic responses and donations, and had our content reposted multiple times by the Newspaper Club who printed the papers for us.
2021 Annual Report
Our 2020 Annual Report was so well received, we decided not to fix what wasn’t broken. Our 2021 report included moving stories, lighthearted cartoons, and a QR code leading people to a site to sign up for our newsletter to get updates regarding an announcement: the upcoming launch of our new brand, Atlas Free.
Identity Posters
These posters were sent to community members upon joining the monthly giving team, Team Freedom. We offered a set of three posters to everyone who signed up within a limited time, and it paid off—with a flood of new members, who then proudly displayed the posters in their home and beyond.
